From listening to the jingle who is the target audience? Why?

From Listening to Capitals 2007 jingle I can see that the target audience is for young working adults, the jingle is full of upbeat sounds, laughter and cheering as a motivation for work and to put people in a good mood.












From listening to Smooth radios jingle i can see that the target
audience is adults, the music is calming and slow and flows smoothly which adds a nice aspect  of quiet after a long day










BBC Radio 1 vs BBC Radio 4 scheduals

Similarities: Both have a time for the news
                     Both have regular changes in presenters and topics.

Differences: BBC 1 begins at 6:33 whereas BBC 4 begins at 6:00
                     BBC radio 4 lasts all night whereas BBC radio 1 ends at 4am

Target audience: BBC radio 1's target audience is 15-29 year olds
                           BBC radio 4's target audience is 56 years old and skews towards an older audience.


Who is the presenter? Mode of address? BBC radio 1's presenter is Nick Grimshaw- mode of address                              makes the audience feel as if they are part of that group of friends, talking about where they went last  night or who they saw.

What is their jingle? describe it... BBC radio 1's jingle is a montage of all the popular songs of the time and an inclusion of the popular singers saying 'BBC Radio 1', which is engaging to the younger audience which will know and hear their favourite singers in the jingle.

BBC radio 4's jingle advertises its talk show, the jingle has a happy beat and talks about the news and events that re going to be coming up on their show.
