Front cover analysis

In Mojo’s pink Floyd magazine, the language is harsh using phrases such as, ‘we attack songs’ and ‘I have no fear’, the closed defensive language may indicate internal struggle between the band members or dificulties they have run into in their career. However in Top of the pops magazine, the language is is childish and simple which helps them attract their target audience of young children and deters adults away from it as it is not appealing to them.
As well as this in Mojos magazine the main image is close up and is the only big image on the front cover and is only surrounded by the coloured background. However in Top of the pops the main image is further surrounded by lots of other images creating a clustered, unfinished and messy affect which reflects their target audience.
Also in top of the pops the colour scheme uses lots of colours that are bold and bright but do clash, this creates a messy affect aimed at younger children. However in Mojos pink Floyd magazine it uses a technicolored background to reflect there genre of physchedellic rock and the excessive use  of  hallocegenic drugs during 1965.

In addition to this in top of the pops there is an excessive use of different styled fonts connoting excitement and fun. However in Mojos pink Floyd magazine the writing font used is sans serif which connotes modernity and maturity from the band and is more attractive to an older audience.

  1. As outlined on the powerpoint, I was ideally looking for 500 words. Additionally as you have a target of a level 7, I had assumed you'd complete this task to the best of your ability. Currently your word count is 247.

There are some many good points that you have discussed with some terminology, but I think you know you can do better.
